Today is the day; the first 25 cameras are going out. Sounds like the Red folks have been burning the midnight oil to get things together in time, but everything is coming together just fine.

A few more news items:

• The camera body is up to 10 pounds due to a new sensor cooling system and more robust construction.
• The Premium Production Pack has been canceled. You now buy the Basic Production Pack and add the individual aditional components that you want.
• It sounds like Red is planning a bunch of firmware upgrades over time.
• Should Red be rated at ISO 320 or 500? It’s your call.
